This top is possibly the most subtlety beautiful garment that I have yet made. The front is made from an RH Italian pillowcase, and the back was an Ethan Allen pillowcase. The crest on the front has a distressed look, which adds to the mystique. It is some of the most luxurious linen I have worked with, and certainly the most difficult to photograph! The front is a natural color that sometimes appears creamy, gray, or tan depending on the light. Fortunately, the back has all those colors (and blues!) to tie the whole thing together!
Flat measurements: body length (neck seam to bottom hem) 22 1/4”, chest/width (armpit to armpit) 30 1/2”. Boxy fit will compliment all body sizes!
Upcycling vintage/secondhand textiles keeps beautiful fabrics out of landfill. Some wear and tear, discolorations, or other small imperfections may be expected and add a little to the history of the piece. Photos were taken in different lighting to show textures and better represent coloration.
